Fabinho might miss the next three games
Liverpool are waiting to find out the duration of Fabinho’s absence – but will have to do without the Brazilian for at least the next three games.
Fabinho has been removed from his country’s squad for next month’s double-header qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay and replaced by Everton’s midfielder Allan.
Fabinho was sent off with a suspected hamstring problem after Liverpool’s half-hour Champions League win over Midtjylland FC on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old underwent an examination to determine the extent of the damage.

However, the Senegalese international is cited by HITC when it comes to his future with the club.
“I have always wanted to belong to this team, to this city. They have given me so much since my arrival (from Genk in 2014) and I want to repay the trust I have received from the first day I arrived.
“The trust that the fans placed in me was important. They confirmed once again that my decision to stay here (was the right decision).
“I am very happy today. My family is doing well in Naples and I am happy to be here.
“I represent the whole Neapolitan people and I want them to be proud of me. I will always give 300 percent for the fans so that they can return the affection they show me.

Calciomercato, quoted by Sport Witness as having previously been in contact with the Naples central defender, reports that Liverpool will “charge again” for the central defender’s signature when the transfer window is reopened.
However, the Area Napoli claims that Naples “will not give up” in the middle of the campaign in Koulibaly.
