FIFA 21 release date for PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S confirmed by EA

As Sony will launch the brand new PlayStation 5 on November 12 and Microsoft will launch two new consoles from the Xbox series X and Xbox series S on November 10, fans will not be able to play the next gen version of FIFA 21 until one month after this date.

EA has finally confirmed when the next generation of FIFA 21 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

The release date for the next generation of FIFA 21 was confirmed today by EA SPORTS, with the game being available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5.

EA SPORTS has announced that these next-generation games will offer blazing fast load times, the most realistic, fluid player movement ever seen in EA SPORTS titles, authentic in-game experiences in the stadiums and new player details unlocked through delayed rendering and lighting. Games on PlayStation 5 will also offer new tactile possibilities via the new DualSense controller.

FIFA 21 will be released on next generation consoles on December 4, 2020. That is three weeks before Christmas Day and just under a month after the release date of the new consoles. And it’s the same with the Madden NFL 21, which will also be released on the next generation consoles on December 4.

Players will be able to transfer their progress and content in Ultimate Team, The Yard and both franchise modes in Madden NFL 21 and their progress and content in Ultimate Team and VOLTA FOOTBALL in FIFA 21. Further details on Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21 will be announced in the coming weeks.

Players who purchase or have purchased Madden NFL 21 or FIFA 21 for Xbox One and/or PlayStation 4 from now until the launch of Madden NFL 22 and FIFA 22 will receive the Xbox Series X|S and/or PlayStation 5 version of the game they purchased for free when the new games are released.

FIFA 21 is now available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The next generation of the game will be released on December 4th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
