Cyclist fell off his bike and injured himself after an accident with Land Rover.


Following reports of an accident, emergency services were called to the intersection of Deysbrook Lane and Princess Drive in West Derby at 6.30 pm on Thursday.

A cyclist was knocked off his bike after an accident with a Land Rover.

Several roadblocks are in place after the police have been called to the scene of the accident.

Their condition is not yet known, but they are not believed to have suffered serious injuries.

Paramedics who were called to the scene quickly began to examine the cyclist for injuries before they were taken to hospital.

Officials set up a series of roadblocks while investigating the incident, and motorists were asked to avoid the area.

Roadblocks were set up on Deysbrook Lane, Croxteth Hall Lane and Princess Drive.

The driver of a silver Land Rover stopped at the scene of the accident to assist the police in their investigation.
