A picture taken at the scene of the crime on the Leasowe Estate in Wirral showed the damage caused by the mindless act.
Brainless boys threw a brick at an Arriva bus as it moved, breaking the windshield.
Thanks to the mindless actions of the youngsters, Arriva rerouted all the evening bus services from the area.
said a spokesperson: “Arriva takes the safety of its employees and customers seriously and every act of antisocial behavior is fully investigated and reported to the police with the help of our on-board camera. Arriva will always endeavor to prosecute those affected.
As a result of the incident, Arriva Nordwest has now taken the decision to move all evening bus services out of the area until Sunday.
The incident occurred yesterday (Wednesday) at about 6:30 pm on Twickenham Drive.
“An evening rerouting remains in place for the time being and will be reviewed on Sunday.
“After the incident at Leasowe on Wednesday evening, our services were rerouted out of the area.
“Services 413, 414 and 423 will operate on Reeds Lane and Leasowe Road but will not serve Gardenside Road, Twickenham Drive, Castleway South or Birket Avenue.
