TV preacher cries over the idea of a Biden presidency in viral video

The clip of a TV preacher crying at the thought of a Joe Biden presidency is virally distributed in the social media.

Jack Hibbs, the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Chino, California, prayed for the victory of President Donald Trump during a sermon that was broadcast live on the Internet the day after Election Day.

“Please God… They are for life. And one man is and one man is not,” said Hibbs, his voice cracking as he knelt in front of a large screen with the word “WHY” written on it.

At the time of the service, Biden seemed on track to win the White House, while Trump had begun spreading unsubstantiated allegations of widespread election fraud and that the election would be stolen from him.

Major news networks and The Associated Press called the election for Biden on November 7, although Trump has not yet given in and has filed several lawsuits to fight the outcome.

A one-minute edited version of Hibbs’ prayer has already garnered thousands of opinions after it was posted on Twitter on Thursday.

In this clip he can be heard comparing Trump and Biden and despairs at the thought that Mike Pompeo is no longer Foreign Minister.

“God, you are for life. And a man is. And a man is not,” Hibbs said. “Lord, one man is for Israel, one man is not. You are for Israel. Lord, one man is for our military and police, the other is not. You are for us.”

He added, “Lord, did you appoint Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State just to put an end to this now? Did you, Lord, take Amy Coney Barrett to court and that’s it? Are we done? We in this room, we’re still here for life.”

In the hour-long service that aired on YouTube under the title “God Is In Charge,” Hibbs prayed that Trump would turn to God while waiting for the election results.

“Father tonight, President Trump is entertaining in thought, I’m sure it’s almost impossible for him to entertain this in thought, but rumor has it that he’s never lost anything,” Hibbs said.

“God, I only pray he loses himself tonight and finds you tonight, Father. That you visit him in his dreams, God. That you would bring this very strong and capable man, who relies on no one, to his knees. Lord, may he collapse in your arms.”

Hibbs also said that he was praying “for the salvation of Joe Biden” and claimed that Vice President-elect Kamala Harris “had such a crazy preoccupation with spiritual things, but not the truth.

“I pray tonight for the salvation of Joe Biden, God, that you touch his soul,” he said. “All he knows is his version of Catholicism. He does not know you personally.”

Hibbs said he also prayed for First Lady Melania Trump and her teenage son Barron Trump.

“We pray for Melania, we know she loves you, she loves your Bible, she loves your people, she’s one of us. I cannot imagine, Lord, what a burden she is carrying right now. Give her strength. I’m sure Barron is asking, “What’s wrong? What’s going on? Save and bless Barron.”

Then he describes Pompeo as “one of the most precious people in the world”.

“I just can’t imagine he’s not Secretary of State,” Hibbs said. “Lord, his Bible is wide open on his desk. He is a man of prayer… I’m so proud of him.”

Hibbs goes on to describe Pence as “an amazingly faithful man”. I believe you brought him to the kingdom for a time like this.”

Although he praises Trump and his allies, Hibbs insists that his prayer does not support either the Republicans or the Democrats.

“Lord, this is neither a Republican nor a Democratic prayer,” he said. “If there are Republican or Democratic shenanigans, expose them. You are not a Republican. You are not a Democrat. You are God.”

Then he called on God to “give us a president and an administration that is pro Israel, pro life, pro religious freedom, pro police, pro military, pro labor, pro Spanish, pro black, pro any other color you can think of.

Since Biden’s victory, Hibbs has shared his support in the social media for Trump’s groundless allegations of voter fraud and Trump’s legal challenge to the election results. He posted a video Wednesday from an airport where he wore a Trump 2020 face mask.

Hibbs was contacted for additional comments.
