Results for the 06/04/21 Mega Millions drawing: Is the $45 million prize still up for grabs?
There were no winners of the $45 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, and no one matched enough balls to win the $1 million second-place prize.
To win the top reward, no ticket had to match all five numbers plus the one golden Mega Ball, and no ticket had to match just the five white balls.
On Friday, June 4, the winning numbers were 04-30-34-41-64, with the Mega Ball being 08.
Seven people have matched four white balls and one Mega Ball, winning $10,000 each.
A 3X Megaplier was also in play, doubling the amount players may win outside of the main prize.
One of the seven persons who won the $10,00 paid to play the MegaPlier, bringing their total prize to $30,000.
Because no one won the main jackpot, a portion of the prize will be added to the next draw on Tuesday, June 8.
The anticipated jackpot for Tuesday’s draw has risen to $56 million, with a $38.3 million cash option.
In other news, after purchasing the winning ticket at a Pennsylvania Lottery outlet in Bucks County, one person has won one of the highest Mega Millions jackpots ever.
For the draw on Friday, May 21, the ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 6-9-17-18-48, as well as the yellow Mega Ball 8, resulting in a massive $516 million prize, or $349.3 million in cash.
The final jackpot amount was adjusted based on actual sales, but it is already the ninth-largest Mega Millions jackpot since the game’s inception in 2002.
In the year 2021, the Mega Millions jackpot has been won three times. A group of players in Michigan won a massive $1.050 billion jackpot on January 22, followed by a New York couple winning $96 million on February 16.
It’s also Pennsylvania’s biggest Mega Millions prize since the state entered the game in 2010.
For selling the winning ticket on the May 21 draw, the 7-Eleven store at 2760 Trenton Road in Levittown will get a $100,000 bonus.
