A power struggle has broken out between two leading members of the “Proud Boys” group, with one member announcing that he will take control of the extreme right-wing organization to address the “white genocide” and the “failure of multiculturalism.

The white nationalist Kyle Chapman-who created the Proud Boys’ “tactical defense arm”, the Fraternal Order of Alt-Knights (FOAK)-criticized the group’s leader, Enrique Tarrio, while announcing a so-called rebranding of the organization.

Chapman wrote about the encrypted news app “Telegram” and used racist insults against Tarrio and other neo-Nazi rhetoric, while announcing that the “Fraud Leaders” had been deposed and the group would be renamed “Proud Goys”. The term “Goy” – a Hebrew word for a non-Jewish person – is sometimes used by white racists to signal their anti-Semitic beliefs, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

“Due to the recent failure of Proud Boys Chairman Enrique Tarrio to behave with honor and courage on the battlefield, it has been decided that I, Kyle Chapman, will resume my duties as Proud Boys President with immediate effect,” Chapman wrote. “Our logo will be changed effective immediately to reflect the core beliefs of Proud Boy members.

“We will no longer bow and scrape to the left by appointing alibynegers as our leaders. We will no longer allow homosexuals or other ‘undesirables’ in our ranks. We will confront the Zionist criminals who want to destroy our civilization.

“We recognize that the West was built by the white race alone and we owe nothing to any other race.

Chapman, nicknamed “Based Stickman” after being photographed beating a demonstrator with a stick at a Trump rally in Berkeley, California, in March 2017, continued: “The Proud Goys would fight for white people to have “their own countries where white people’s interests are enshrined in law.

The message was posted the day after Chapman’s criticism of Tarrio’s “inaction and fear” through a video that seemed to show the moment when Tarrio and two others were injured in a knife attack in Washington, DC in the early morning hours of November 4.

The Proud Boys are tired of pretending they are not a white supremacist group.

They should really profess their white superiority and go hard on the color https://t.co/hr2R5Kmd5b

In context, “goy” is a Hebrew word for “gentile” and Nazis love to use it as a general signal of their anti-Semitism https://t.co/aftK0kwTYA

The “Proud Boys”, which are listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, often deny that they are a white racist organization.

Neither Tarrio nor any of the other leaders have made public statements about Chapman’s statement. The name Proud Goys only appears in Chapman’s social profiles.

Elsewhere, the Proud Boys and other far-right groups are planning a “Million MAGA March” in Washington on Saturday to support President Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claim that he lost the election due to electoral fraud.
