During a campaign rally in North Carolina on Monday, First Lady Melania Trump said that during the 2020 election cycle, U.S. children would not get enough respect from politicians.

The political rhetoric between Biden and Donald Trump was tough at times. During the last presidential debate in October, Biden targeted Donald Trump’s claims that he had “done more for the black community than any president since Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, which provided for the liberation of U.S. slaves in some parts of the country.
Referring to Donald Trump, Biden said, “Abraham Lincoln here is one of the most racist presidents we have had in modern history. He pours oil on every single racist fire.”
Donald Trump, who often nicknamed Biden “Sleepy Joe,” said at an August rally in Pennsylvania that Biden was “a puppet of the radical leftist movement that wants to destroy the American way of life.
Biden’s campaign has accused supporters of the president of creating dangerous social situations. On Friday, some of Donald Trump’s supporters allegedly used their vehicles to box on a Biden campaign bus on a highway in Texas. No one was injured in the incident, but the FBI announced on Sunday that it would begin an investigation into the incident.
Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday that in his opinion his supporters had “done nothing wrong”. Instead, the FBI and the judiciary should investigate the ANTIFA terrorists, anarchists and agitators who run around burning our Democrat-ruled cities and hurting our people!
FiveThirtyEight’s national election averages placed Biden ahead of Donald Trump the day before the expected presidential election. Biden had a lead of over 8 percentage points with 51.8 percent, while Donald Trump held 43.4 percent.
