Officials were seen guarding the Kirkstone Road North property on Wednesday evening, just hours after another nearby incident.
A house was sealed off when police lined the road in front of a house in Litherland.
A window at the front of the house had been boarded up when a line of police cars and vans parked in front of the house.
At least four police cars and one police van were also on the scene, with neighbors informing ECHO that they arrived around 6 pm.
One of the windows at the front of the house was also boarded up after the glass was allegedly smashed.
Photos from the crime scene show the house being taped and two officers standing in the front path.
“No further details are available at this time, but there is no concern for the general public.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police was unable to give further details of the incident but confirmed that officers were at the scene of an ongoing incident.
In a statement the police said: “Officers are at the scene of an ongoing incident in a house in Kirkstone Road North, Litherland.
An air ambulance was also seen landing in the park when officers and paramedics arrived at the scene.
Early Wednesday, people in the area reported another large police presence on Kirkstone Road North near Kirkstone Park.
Merseyside police were questioned about the incident and confirmed that one person had suffered a medical incident and that it was not a police incident.
It is not yet clear whether the two incidents are connected in any way.
