Heartbreak over the discovery of a guy dead in Wirral woodland
A man discovered dead in Wirral woodland has received heartbreaking tributes.
Robert Bigland, of Moreton, went missing around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting police to seek for assistance as they became increasingly concerned about his whereabouts.
Officers hunting for Mr Bigland announced yesterday that the 40-year-body old’s was discovered in forest near Pasture Road at around 12.55 p.m. on Wednesday.
His death was not being investigated as suspicious, according to a Merseyside police spokesperson.
One user, scorpio92, said on the ECHO website, “RIP Bert, we had some wonderful times with the Wellington and Towers Sunday League teams.”
“Absolutely heartbreaking,” said Sayitasitis782. I was hoped he’d be discovered safe and sound. Mr. Bigland, rest in peace. “Our hearts go out to the man’s family and friends.”
Julia Cooke wrote on the ECHO Facebook page, “These awful deaths seem to be happening all too regularly at the moment.” Heartfelt sympathies to his entire family. “Rest in peace, he.”
“R.i.p mate, you are in a better place now,” Stacey Green said.
“It’s very sad,” Barbara Turner-Bone added. May he now rest in peace. He was thinking about his family.”
The news was shared on Merseyside Police’s Wirral Facebook page, and tributes poured in.
“I can’t believe it, it’s just heartbreakingly sad,” Laura Hynd remarked. Robbie, may you rest in peace. We express our love and support to his mother, niece, and family.”
“I’m 40 years old,” Alan Simpson added. That’s a bloody heck of a young age. “Poor bloke.”
“So sad,” Janet Graham said, “my heart goes out to his mother Pam and sister Clare.”
