The 20-year-old striker will spend the season with the French club and has made an impressive start after scoring four times in so many games since joining PSG earlier this month.
Carlo Ancelotti insists that Moise Kean “will be back next season” to return to the Everton squad when his loan to Paris Saint Germain ends.
Everton striker Moise Kean has scored four times in four games for PSG since his transfer on loan in early October.
Ancelotti has not spoken to Kean since the move, but has been monitoring his progress and says his form of scoring is good for all parties.
Everton would not agree to the inclusion of a call option in the terms of Kean’s loan, and Ancelotti has confirmed that he will return to the club in July because “this is what the contract says.
Asked if he expected Kean to return to Everton after his loan was terminated, the Blues boss said: “That’s what the contract says,” the Blues boss said.
“I haven’t spoken to him, but I’ve seen him score four goals in two games,” he said.
“That is good. That’s good for Paris Saint Germain, for him and also for us”.
“We decided to allow him to go on loan, to play more, to have more opportunities to play more. He shows his quality and will be back next season.”
Meanwhile, Ancelotti says that now is “the time to break this statistic” as Everton wants to win a Premier League without Richarlison for the first time.
The suspended Brazilian will miss the Sunday trip to Newcastle United and the home game with Manchester United next weekend.
Richarlison has missed six leagues since joining the club, either through injury or suspension, and the Blues record is four draws, two lost.
Everton will also have to do without suspended Lucas Digne and injured James Rodriguez and Seamus Coleman.
“For this is the time. Richarlison is an important player and we have the opportunity to replace him well, maybe with different qualities, but with good players.
“I know these statistics, but I can say two things: Richarlison is a really important player for us and the club, and secondly it is time for us to win to break these statistics,” said Ancelotti.
“So we don’t want to focus too much on the fact that Richarlison is not here, that Digne is not here – we still have a good team and if we do our best, we have a chance to win”.
