What to Expect from the ‘Resident Evil Village’ Demo
Fans got more specifics on the upcoming eighth installment of the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Village, at Capcom’s Resident Evil showcase on Thursday, which included updates on an upcoming demo.
Despite the fact that Resident Evil Village isn’t due out until May, fans will be able to play a portion of it for a limited time.
Unlike the Maiden demo, which was published a few months ago, this new demo will be taken directly from the game, offering players a preview of what they might expect. If you want to try out the Resident Evil Village demo for yourself, keep reading for more info.
DEMO SCHEDULE FOR EVIL VILLAGE RESIDENTS
The Resident Evil Village demo will be split into three sessions, each with its own set of maps and experiences.
For North American players, the first session will begin on Saturday, April 17 at 8 p.m. EDT. On Sunday, April 18, at 7 p.m. CEST, European players will be able to compete. Although the session will last eight hours, the demo will only last 30 minutes.
For this first session, players will be able to play in the village map.
The second demo session for Resident Evil Village will be 30 minutes long as well, but it will take place in the castle map. The second demo will run for eight hours and will begin on Saturday, April 24, at 8 p.m. EDT in North America. On Sunday, April 25, at 7 p.m. CEST, European players will be able to play the second demo.
Only PS4 and PS5 users will participate in the first two demo sessions.
Both the village and demo maps will be included in the final demo. The tutorial will last one hour and will be available for 24 hours.
This session will begin on Saturday, May 1 at 8 p.m. EDT for North American players. European players will be able to join on Sunday, May 2, at 7 p.m. CEST. This session will be available to not just PlayStation users, but Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S users as well, along with Steam and Google Stadia users.
