Start Time, Field Research, and More for ‘Pokémon Go’ Sustainability Week

Every year, Niantic and Pokémon Go host a Sustainability Week event to highlight Niantic’s efforts to help the environment.

Niantic’s Sustainability Campaign collaborates with non-profit organizations to organize cleanup activities all over the world. Pokémon Go will have its own event to celebrate Niantic’s efforts and to encourage and raise awareness of the company’s efforts. Pokémon Go will add a new Pokémon and Shiny form to the game this year. During the Sustainability Week celebration, more incentives and updates to the mobile game will be published.

START TIME FOR THE POKEMON GO SUSTAINABILITY EVENT

The Pokémon Go Sustainability Week event will take place from Tuesday, April 20 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, April 25 at 8 p.m. local time.

FIELD RESEARCH FOR THE POKEMON GO SUSTAINABILITY EVENT

Trainers will participate in event-exclusive Field and Timed Research during Sustainability Week.

Field Research, which can be earned by spinning PokeStops, can include prizes such as Cottonee, Chespin, Binacle, and other Pokémon.

Research in the Field

Turtwig, Mega Venusaur Energy (x20), and 1000xp are the rewards for completing the quest.

Cherrim catches 40 Grass-type Pokémon with 7 Berries – Alolan Diglett Binacle – Use Incense

SHINY TRUBBISH AND BINACLE

During this case, Binacle, a Rock and Water-type Pokémon from the Kalos area, will make his first appearance in Pokémon Go.

Trainers will capture this Pokémon in the wild, in Raids, and in Field Research.

Trubbish, a Poison-type Pokémon from the Unova area, will make its Pokémon Go debut this week in its Shiny form. Trubbish is normally green, but when it transforms into its Shiny form, it turns bluish.
