Fortnite is hosting its special Ghost Rider Cup tournament on November 4, giving fans an early opportunity to put Ghost Rider skins in their lockers before any other Ghost Rider skins. Would you like to know exactly when the Ghost Rider Cup will take place and which experienced players can expect to win? Here you are at the right place.
When is the Ghost Rider Cup in Fortnite?
Just like the Daredevil Cup before it, the Ghost Rider Cup in Fortnite is expected to take place from 17.00 to 20.00 local time. With this in mind, NA East, NA West and the rest of the world will technically have different starting times, coordinated with their time zones. If you’re someone on the East Coast who wants to keep an eye on what’s happening on the West Coast, for example, you may have to make one or two adjustments.
Here is the full schedule of regional start times converted to Eastern Standard Time.
NA East: 17.00 to 20.00 EST
NA West: 20.00 hrs to 23.00 hrs EST
Europe: 12.00 to 15.00 EST
Oceania: 3 am to 6 am EST
Brazil: 17.00 to 20.00 EST
Asia: 4.00 to 7.00 am EST
Middle East 8.00 to 12.00 EST
How does the points system work in the Ghost Rider Cup?
To participate in the Ghost Rider Cup, players must have reached account level 30 or higher and have two-factor authentication enabled on their Epic account. To learn more about the latter, please read our special 2FA guide. It should also be noted that matchmaking is not supported in this tournament, so you will need two additional friends to play with you.
Provided you and the other two players in your trio meet these basic requirements, you will be asked to play a maximum of 10 games of Marvel Knockout LTM during the three-hour event window. In Marvel Knockout, the trios will compete against another team while they have four random super powers. Their goal is it to reach in the given time as many eliminations as possible. Climb the in-game leaderboard in four game rounds to win the game.
The Ghost Rider Cup scoring system is based on your position on the leaderboard for each individual game.
First: 25 points
Second: 10 points
Third-Fourth: five points
Fifth-eighth: three points
Ninth-16th: one point
How to get the Ghost Rider skin early
As most fans probably know, the only prize for the Ghost Rider Cup on Wednesday is early access to the Ghost Rider Bundle before everyone else goes live around November 7th. So the winners will not only get the Ghost Rider basic skin for free, but will also unlock the thematically matching back bling and pickaxes. The spot on the ladder you have to reach to receive the prize varies by region.
NA East: First-500.
NA West: First-200.
Middle East: First-100.
While it may be difficult for Fortnite believers to unlock this Ghost Rider Grand Prize, it is worth noting that those who participate in the Ghost Rider Cup and the other two Marvel Theme Cups on November 11 and November 18 will unlock the Nexus Glider for free. This is essentially the main screen of Season 4, which is located on the back of the glider. In other words, even those who do not win will have something to look forward to. That’s all you need to know about the Ghost Rider Cup, which takes place on November 4th in Fortnite.
Fortnite is now available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Android.
