Fortnite is hosting the Black Widow Cup on November 11th, and just like the Ghost Rider and Daredevil Cups before, success in the new tournament offers early access to an exclusive Marvel themed package. When is the Black Widow Cup in Fortnite?

According to the official in-game tournament page, the Black Widow Cup will take place on November 11th between 6pm and 9pm East Coast time on the East Coast. In other words: If you are trying to coordinate with players from different time zones, there may be different starting times that you should know. However, for those who play locally, scheduling should be fairly simple. Each tournament lasts three hours.

Here is the list of regional start times converted to Eastern Standard Time for those who need it:

NA East: 18:00.
NA West: 9 pm.
Europe: 12 p.m.
Oceania: 2 p.m.
Brazil: 4 p.m.
Asia: 4 p.m.
Middle East: 9 am
How does the points system work in the Black Widow Cup?

As far as tournament rules are concerned, there are only a few basic rules that you must follow before you are admitted to the tournament. Participants must have two-factor authentication enabled on all of their fellow players’ accounts, and all accounts must also be at account level 30. Since matchmaking is disabled for these tournaments, you will need a friend to play with. To learn more about 2FA, please read our 2FA guide.

Teams will play the duo variant of Marvel Knockout LTM over a maximum of 10 games. In this mode, all players will have a random loadout of superhero abilities that will be reflected across all teams. In other words, even though the abilities you receive may be great or terrible, your opponents will have exactly the same equipment. The goal is to achieve as many eliminations as possible within the time limit in order to climb the in-game ladder. In this tournament you will receive points based on how high you are placed on each of your 10 ladders.

First: 25 points
Second: 10 points
Third – Fourth: five points
Fifth eighth: three points
Ninth-16th: one point
How to get the skin of the black widow early

Based on the above point system, the only way to get the Black Widow Snow Suit package early is to reach a certain ranking threshold in the overall ranking of the tournament. You can view the leaderboard in-game while the action is taking place by visiting the Black Widow Cup page.

Here are the rankings you need to achieve depending on your region:

NA East: First-750.
NA West: First-300.
Europe: First-1200.
Oceania: First-150th.
Brazil: First-300th.
Asia: First-150.
Middle East: First-150.

The “Black Widow” bundle may be hard to win, but the good news is that it probably won’t be an exclusive for long. Based on the previous two Marvel knockout tournaments, Black Widow should be available for purchase by everyone else as early as November 14th. Their efforts are also aimed at unlocking the Nexus War Glider as well, which requires participation in the upcoming Knockout Tournament on November 18th.
