Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on a variety of platforms on November 13th, and preparations for the upcoming game will begin sooner than you might think. In a recent blog post, Activision outlined the key details you need to know about preparing for launch on all platforms.
PS4/PS5 preload date and details
Provided you have a PS4 or PS5 before Black Ops Cold War is released, there are several different ways you can start preloading. The interface for both systems may be slightly different, but the menu structure is largely the same.
Preloading to PS4 will begin on November 6th at 12 noon EST. The PS5 version can be pre-installed when the console is launched on November 12th.
Go to PlayStation Store and navigate to the Black Ops Cold War product page. You should be able to download it from there if you have already pre-ordered it.
You can also scroll right to your game library on your home screen. You may see Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War listed below the icons.
File size: 95 GB (PS4) and 133 GB (PS5).
Note: Just like Modern Warfare before, players of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War can uninstall modes they do not want after the initial installation. Once you are done with the campaign, you can remove them to save space.
Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S Pre-Installation Date and Details
Subpoenas for Xbox One will begin on November 6 at 12 noon EST. The Xbox Series X/S version can be pre-installed when the system starts on November 10th.
Simply go to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War product page on the Microsoft Store and download it from there.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War should also be listed in the “ready to install” section of Games & Apps.
File size: 93 GB (Xbox One) and 136 GB (Xbox Series X/S)

PC pre-installation date and deails
The preloading of the PCs on Battle.net will begin on November 10th at 13:00 EST.
Find the Black Ops Cold War page in the store and preload from there.

The Woods Operator Package for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Confrontation Weapons Package: Includes the blueprint of the Iron Curtain assault rifle and the tactical rifle of the Western Front. Both weapons come with five preconfigured accessories.
