Max Clark switches to Fleetwood Mac.
Max Clark, a former Hull City left-back, has joined Fleetwood.
The Sky Bet League One team has announced that the 25-year-old has agreed to a one-year deal with the option of a second year at Highbury.
After a loan spell with Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands, Clark returned to Hull on a short-term basis in February, however injuries prevented him from playing.
Prior to that, he played 57 times for Vitesse, scoring three goals and gaining Europa League experience.
The defender started his professional career at Hull City and has previously spent time on loan with Cambridge.
“I’m happy to get it over the line,” Clark, who is Fleetwood boss Simon Grayson’s fifth summer signing, said on the club’s website. I spoke with the manager and a couple of the players here when I saw there was interest, and they said it’s a highly ambitious squad, and I’m looking forward to becoming a part of it.
“I believe that’s what pulled me in. The boss believes in me and wanted me here, which really motivates you as a player.
“I’m looking forward to playing in League One since there are some fantastic clubs and it will be extremely difficult and challenging.”
