Jordan Pickford welcomes the change in Everton’s printing after Carlo Ancelotti’s decision.

The No. 1 of the Blues hopes that Olsen’s addition of a seasonal loan can help raise educational standards and put pressure on him to be the stopper of choice.

Jordan Pickford is believed to have welcomed Robin Olsen’s arrival in Everton’s goalkeeping ranks and the increased competition that will take his place.

Everton committed Robin Olsen to a seasonal loan from AS Roma on the cut-off date for competition with Jordan Pickford.

Young players Harry Tyrer, Nico Hansen and Zan Leban are also included in the expanded squad list, as confirmed by the Premier League.

On Tuesday, Everton confirmed that they will have four goalkeepers in the squad by at least January. Pickford, Olsen, Jonas Lossl and Joao Virginia are either on the club’s 25-member Premier League squad or on the list of under 21s.

The English goalkeeper breathed a sigh of relief when Jordan Henderson’s goal in injury time, which he should have saved, was ruled out for offside in Saturday’s 2-2 derby draw.

Pickford has had the full support of Carlo Ancelotti since joining the club last December.

And despite a worrying recent form, it is believed that he still has the support of the backroom staff and his teammates.

In his press conference after the game, Ancelotti said in a speech: “He played a good game like the others.

But Ancelotti insisted that Pickford’s performance against Liverpool was good after he parried another parry against Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip, who helped keep Everton in the game.

“Some good parries… a good performance,” before he added: “No, I’m not worried about it”….
