The teenager left Anfield on the day of the transfer deadline to spend the season at Ewood Park for the regular season.
Harvey Elliott revealed that he was in constant communication with his Liverpool teammates while on loan with Blackburn Rovers.
Elliott scored his first goal for Blackburn against Coventry City after signing a full season loan.
The Liverpool loaned player scored his first goal for the club and contributed to a dominant 4-0 win, albeit with the help of a very early red card for the hosts.
Elliott began his first championship match in the middle of the week with the Rovers’ 3-1 defeat by Watford and was back in the starting eleven against Coventry City on Saturday.
“After every training session, after every game, they send me a message.
In his post-match address, Elliott revealed that he is in constant contact with his teammates after every game.
“They send me messages every day,” he told LancsLive.
About his borrowing spell and the result, Elliott said: “The main result is what matters here.
“I still get messages from the players saying good luck, hope you’re doing well, miss you and stuff like that. So when they send me messages, that’s an incentive for me too.”
“I was just happy to score and contribute to the victory. Hopefully it’s the first of many, but I’m just curious to see what really happens.
“When we took a 1-0 lead, (us) wasn’t comfortable, but we were able to play our football and keep it going and then we beat them.
“This is just the beginning, I still have a long way to go. I take it day by day and I hope that I can use the performances in training and in the games to show people what I can do.
“A few of us had a few chances that we should have missed, but luckily we missed them in the second half.
“It just shows what this team has. They have a lot of creative players, a lot of technical players, and it was a good goal.
“Everyone has a lot of fun in this team. I think we all play together, we all want to give each other chances, and there is a selflessness in this team, but there is also hard work involved.
“The main goal for me this season is to find the team that is really closest to promotion, I think that is my main goal.
“It can be more difficult when the teams sit back, they protect the goal, which makes it harder to break them. To be fair, they did well in the first half, but like any team they were lucky and we were able to take them out.
