‘Excellent purchase’ Dan Jones has agreed to join Port Vale after his time at Salford.
When Dan Jones’ contract with Salford expires at the end of the month, he has agreed to join Port Vale.
The 26-year-old full-back spent last season on loan at Harrogate Town, where he made 25 appearances.
“I’ve always loved Dan to be honest,” Valiants coach Darrell Clarke said on the club’s website. His time at Salford didn’t go as planned, but he did well on loan at Harrogate and is well-versed in the level.
“Dan is a fantastic defender, but he can also go forward and deliver crosses, giving us defensive options in a variety of situations. He’s a fantastic addition for us.”
