Everton’s exciting future, outlined after the MegaFon deal, realizes commercial vision.

Under the agreement, MegaFon will be the jersey sponsor of the team and Yota – a company under the MegaFon umbrella – the sleeve sponsor.

MegaFon CEO Gevork Vermishyan says his company is “delighted” to have signed an agreement to become the main partner of Everton Women.

The Everton Women have signed a jersey sponsorship agreement with Alisher Usmanov’s Megafon.

Sarvar Ismailov, Everton Women’s sports and commercial director, said the partnership demonstrates “the exciting development” of both the team and MegaFon.

Today’s announcement is an extension of the agreement that MegaFon already had as a sponsor for the sleeves of the men’s training apparel and as an official partner of the club on match day.

“We wish the club good luck for the final of the FA Women’s Cup this weekend and for the rest of the 2020/21 season as we look forward to building on our strong relationship with Everton, Everton Women and their international fan base.

Vermishyan said, “We are excited to expand our agreement with Everton at a very exciting time for the Everton Women.

“This partnership allows us to support the women’s football game in England and be part of a club with great ambition and international reach playing in the now globally recognized WSL.

“Securing exclusive commercial partnerships for Everton Women was an important part of our vision and strategy to develop a team that challenges itself at the top of the Women’s Super League. We are delighted that MegaFon has seen the opportunity to join us on this exciting journey.

Ismailov added: “This partnership reflects the growing importance of women’s play and the exciting future for our women’s team.

“This is a truly international partnership, and having a company of this size as a key partner shows the exciting development for both Everton Women and MegaFon”.
