Brentford will lose Henrik Dalsgaard, Luke Daniels, and Emiliano Marcondes.
Henrik Dalsgaard, Luke Daniels, and Emiliano Marcondes have all agreed to leave Brentford when their contracts expire on June 30.
Thomas Frank made decisions on the team’s future after gaining promotion to the Premier League.
After making 40 appearances in his final season with Brentford, Dalsgaard will join Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland, calling an end to his four-year stint at the club.
“Henrik has been one of the players who drives the standards in the group every day, in matches and in training,” Frank told the Bees’ official website.
“We’ll miss him around the training ground, and we wish him the best of luck with his new job at FCM.”
Marcondes leaves the club after 97 appearances, the last of which being a 2-0 triumph over Swansea City in the play-off final at Wembley.
“Everyone could see how important Emiliano was in getting us promoted through the play-offs,” Frank remarked.
“Emiliano will be sorely missed. I’d like to express my gratitude for all of his efforts on our behalf. I am confident that he will perform an excellent job for his next club.”
After four years with the club, goalkeeper Luke Daniels is the third player to be dismissed.
Winston Reid has returned to West Ham after a loan spell with the club. The 32-year-old made a late appearance in the play-off final after starting seven Sky Bet Championship games.
After loan periods elsewhere, Ellery Balcombe, Halil Dervişolu, Patrik Gunnarsson, Julian Jeanvier, Dominic Thompson, and Joel Valencia have all returned to Brentford.
