At Mansfield Town, Nigel Clough hopes Danny Johnson continues to score goals.
Danny Johnson, a striker from Leyton Orient, has signed a two-year contract with Mansfield.
Johnson scored 20 goals for the O’s in Sky Bet League Two last season, helping them finish in the top half of the table.
The 28-year-old was Orient’s top scorer in the 2020-21 season and has now joined the Stags after his contract with the club expired.
Manager Nigel Clough told Mansfield’s official website: “We needed a goalscorer and Danny fits the description.”
“In terms of goal scoring, I believe he’s at the top of his game. I’m hopeful that his expertise will combine to make him a great signing for us.”
