Woman defends herself against burglars who try to tie her hands and gag her in a terrible ordeal.

The man tricked his way to the Hampstead Road, Kensington property and was caught on video surveillance using the buzzer system to gain access.

Amazing video footage shows a woman fleeing from her attacker, whom she was confronted with when he tried to break into her apartment.

The burglar “tried to tie her hands and put clothes in her mouth” before she could escape.

Arriving on the street, the over-40-year-old woman screamed for help while her attacker escaped in a waiting vehicle.

But the brave woman managed to fend him off and escape from the apartment, being recorded on video as she ran down a staircase.

The victim’s partner, who did not want to be named, claimed that the burglar “tried to tie her hands and put clothes in her mouth.

He then left the apartment towards Sheil Road in a waiting vehicle.

The police confirmed that they were investigating the aggravated burglary, which took place on Monday, October 26, around 4:50 p.m.

They said the man tried to restrain the female occupant before stealing three cell phones and a lot of cash.

The woman was not seriously injured in the incident, but is said to have been shaken by her ordeal.

An investigation is underway, and surveillance cameras and forensic examinations have been conducted.

The man was wearing a blue jacket and a black face mask.
