On Thursday, a harrowing update from NHS England said that 33 further covid patients had died at the city region’s hospitals.
Tragedy and devastation are continuing to hit the Liverpool City Region, with 42 further covid-19 deaths announced.
Liverpool’s NHS Trust adds 17 new deaths as it approaches grim 700 milestone
There were also 10 new deaths reported by Wirral’s main Trust, six in St Helens and Knowsley and five in Southport.
Liverpool continues to be the worst affected area, with its main University Hospitals Trust adding 17 more fatalities to its numbers – which are now just shy of 700.
Since then, the Trusts serving our region have reported another 42 virus deaths in a shocking update.

While these deaths did not all occure in the past 24 hours, they did all happen between October 21 and 30.
