Emily Jones, who speaks with a Liverpool accent, is missing after she was last seen in North Yorkshire on October 25.
Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who has not been seen for five days.
Emily Jones was last seen on 25 October and is known to be visiting Bootle and Widnes areas.
A police spokeswoman said: “We are asking for help in the search for a 16-year-old girl who is missing.
The officers are now asking for help in the search for the young girl,” said a police spokeswoman.
The teenage girl is known to be in the Bootle and Widnes areas, and she was last seen on Sunday night at 9 pm.
“Emily Jones was last seen in North Yorkshire at 9 pm on Sunday 25 October, but is known to be in the Bootle and Widnes areas.
“When last seen, she was wearing black leggings, a black coat with fur hood and white and gold Guess shoes.
“She is described as being white, 5’5” tall, of slender stature, with red/brown long hair, light complexion and blue eyes. She speaks with a Liverpool accent….
