Clinton Blakey is wanted by the National Crime Agency after he failed to appear at his court hearing on Thursday.

A suspected arms supplier is now on the run after failing to appear for his court date.

The 35-year-old is wanted by the National Crime Agency, and anyone who sees him is asked to call the police immediately.

In a statement, an NCA spokesman said: “The National Crime Agency has issued an APB after a man accused of firearms offences failed to appear in court.

He is also wanted for violating the conditions for a prison pass and anyone who sees him is asked to contact the police immediately.

The 35-year-old from Dunstarn Drive in Leeds is believed to have been involved in the supply of firearms in Merseyside and Yorkshire.

NCA Chief of Operations Nigel Coles said: “Clinton Blakey is suspected of being involved in the illegal supply of firearms and is now trying to escape justice. We need your help to find him. So if you know where he is or if you have any information that could help us catch him, please contact us immediately”.

“Clinton Blakey, 35, of Dunstarn Drive, Leeds, was due to appear in Leeds court today [29 October] after being charged with offences relating to the supply of firearms in the Yorkshire and Merseyside areas.

“Blakey is also wanted in jail for breach of the terms of his licence and a warrant has been issued for his arrest to recall him to prison. The NCA is asking for information to help track him down.

It is known that he has connections in the Merseyside and Yorkshire areas, particularly in central Leeds.
