Men escape the scene as a ‘stolen’ BMW crashes into a wall, injuring teenagers.

Police are on the lookout for two men after the car they were traveling in slammed into a wall in Woolton.

Officers on patrol noticed the grey BMW 525 on Woolton Hill Road at 1.15 a.m. this morning, where it was reportedly driving recklessly.

A short time later, the car jumped the curb and collided with a wall at the Bower Road intersection.

Two guys are suspected of fleeing from the BMW, which police believe was stolen.

Ambulance personnel treated three young males for minor injuries at the spot.

Merseyside Police are appealing to anyone who observed the event or has video footage of it to contact them.

Carl McNulty, a road policing inspector, said: “We believe the vehicle involved in this collision was stolen at this time.

“We’d like to hear from anyone who was at the Bower Road / Woolton Hill Road intersection this morning, as well as any Woolton Hill Road businesses that may have crucial CCTV evidence.

“Please let us know if you have any information concerning the BMW’s direction of travel previous to the incident.”

“Do the right thing and let us know if you have any concerns or believe someone is driving illegally so we can take action against them.”
