In south London, a teenager was stabbed to death.
A kid was stabbed to death in south London, prompting an inquiry.
On Thursday, just after 4 p.m., the Metropolitan Police were dispatched to Prentis Road in Streatham in response to reports of a stabbing.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) discovered a boy in his late teens who had been stabbed in the chest.
He was brought to a hospital in central London, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 5 p.m.
On Thursday evening, police were on the site, and many roads in the neighborhood were closed.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the young man stabbed to death on Streatham High Road this afternoon,” stated local MP Bell Ribeiro-Addy on Twitter.
“Arrests have been made in the vicinity, and an investigation is ongoing.”
The Metropolitan Police Service is continuing its investigation and has asked anyone with information to phone police on 101 and quote the reference number CAD 5897/10JUNE.
