During his paternity leave, Harry announces that the Invictus Games will be staged in Germany in 2023.

The Duke of Sussex has taken a break from paternity leave to announce the return of his Invictus Games, which raises funds for wounded veterans’ rehabilitation and recovery.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Prince Harry announced that the event would be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, in 2023. The sports tournament, which Harry established in 2014, is for wounded, sick, and injured veterans and members of the armed forces.

“It’s time to get the word out,” he remarked. “Germany is about to becoming a lot bigger.”

Last week in California, Harry and Meghan welcomed their second child, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. Archie Harrison, the couple’s first child, was born in 2019.

Following Harry’s brief remark, the movie cut to footage of a guy racing through the streets of Dusseldorf before flashing the dates September 9-16.

After having to cancel the event this year and last due to the epidemic, Harry is bringing the Invictus Games back.

The Invictus Games will return to the Netherlands in 2022, from April 16 to 22, before moving to Germany the following year.
