Armed men” steal American bulldogs and cars during a chaotic afternoon.

Officers were first called to Derwent Road West in Old Swan shortly after 2.25pm when a group of men were reported to have entered through a back door.

Three men were arrested this afternoon after an afternoon of chaos in the city.

One member of the group “carried a firearm” and another “carried a knife”.

They drove in a VW Golf and a white Ford Focus towards Green Lane.

The men in the group demanded cash and jewelry as they made threats before leaving with some American bulldogs and a silver VW Golf parked outside the door.

One member of the group apparently carried a firearm, another a knife.

None of the inmates suffered injuries, but were “extremely shaken by the torture.

The police said that the VW Golf was later found abandoned in Cotswold Street, Kensington, and will be forensically examined.

Three male persons were arrested by officials and taken into custody. Efforts are underway to locate all remaining suspects.

The Ford Focus, which was stolen in a previous incident, is said to have crashed into a van in Sheil Road, Kensington at about 3:45 p.m. and will also be subject to forensic investigation.
