Following a police chase on the M62, a guy has been charged with gun offenses and is scheduled to appear in court.
Following his arrest this weekend, Ashley Duggan is accused with possessing a handgun with the intent to endanger life.

They stopped the rider in Cheshire around 9 p.m. between Junction 10 for the Croft Interchange and Junction 11 for Birchwood as part of the operation.
“A firearm was seized following a search of the rider, and the rider was apprehended and put into jail for questioning,” the force stated.
Duggan, of Salford’s Stanton Avenue, has been charged with possessing a firearm with the purpose to endanger life, possessing a firearm without a certificate, possessing ammunition, receiving stolen goods, driving without insurance, and driving without a license.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court today.
