The winner, from Mossley Hill, landed the prize when his zip code L18 8AD, located in Rose Lane, was drawn by the People’s Postcode Lottery on Thursday 29 October.
A Liverpool resident experienced the surprise of a lifetime when he won a cash prize of £60,000 sterling thanks to his zip code.
The massive win was due to their postal code.
The winner chose to remain anonymous, but still received his prize money.
This prize was part of the People’s Postcode Lottery’s special promotion in October, in which one zip code wins £30,000 per ticket every day.
he said: “Congratulations to our winner in Mossley Hill! I hope that the prize helps to lift their spirits and that they will use the money to treat themselves to something special”.
The ambassador of the People’s Postcode Lottery, Matt Johnson, congratulated the player on his prize.
The People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 per month to enter and there are guaranteed winners every day. Players play with their chosen zip code and are automatically entered into all drawings.
This draw was held on behalf of the Postcode African Trust, which supports charities working in Africa to alleviate poverty, empower communities and preserve and protect the environment.
At least 32% of ticket sales go directly to charities and People’s Postcode Lottery players have helped raise over £600 million for thousands of charities in the UK and internationally.
