Kirstie Alley has attacked CNN for “terrorizing” viewers over her COVID-10 coverage, while the actress continues to rail against the station.
The strong-voiced Donald Trump supporter went on the news channel on Sunday night during an appearance on Fox with Tucker Carlson.
“The thing that pisses me off is that they scare people to 27/4, but they have no additional preventative measures,” Alley told CNN.
“They say the same thing, it’s the same three things we’ve been hearing for eight months,” she said about coronavirus security protocols. “A lot of people do that and they still get [the virus], so I don’t know what the secret is.
She added: “But if they came up with new preventive measures, I would be happy to listen.

The “Cheers” star further imitated a person who injects drugs intravenously: “God forbid that we come up with new, what are they called, therapeutic drugs. Shoot them all!”
Carlson laughed his head off at this point and replied, “You make such a reasonable point. Here you are doing what you asked for, you are not coughing on anyone in the elevator”.
Alley’s tirade against CNN began when she tweeted on October 31: “I should be ashamed to say that CNN scares people 24 hours a day and that the only news they report is Covid? I am a masked, socially distancing supporter. I know how many people are dead, you fucking idiot. That still doesn’t rule out that CNN is scaring people around the clock with ZERO NEW SOLUTIONS!
I should be ashamed when I say that CNN scares people 24 hours a day and that the only news they report is Covid? I am a masked, socially distancing follower. I know how many people are dead, you fucking idiot. That still doesn’t diminish the fact that CNN scares people 24/7 with ZERO NEW SOLUTIONS! https://t.co/gWlU6iSb7p

This latest attack by the actress comes as CNN fought back with a tweet in recent days, mocking Alley’s old TV series Veronica’s Closet.
The 69-year-old started a Twitter fight with CNN when she tweeted that she thought her friends who were afraid of catching the corona virus were viewers of the channel who reacted with a surprising amount of sass.
“Kirstie, you’re welcome to change channels – just like countless viewers did every time Veronica’s Closet was on TV,” came the response from the official CNN account, adding: “But don’t downplay the loss of nearly 230,000 American lives. And please, wear a mask.”
The tweet, of course, was aimed at the 1990s NBC sitcom starring Alley, which only lasted three seasons.
Alley responded to CNN and quoted the tweet: “Meow…if you paid as much attention to Joe Biden’s allegedly corrupt business relationships as you did to a TV show that was ranked in the top ten in 1997….., you must have misunderstood that too”…
