A video of residents of West Philadelphia dancing in the streets while Joe Biden takes the lead in the state has been circulated.
The former vice president is on the verge of winning the election in 2020, as the major warring states of Pennsylvania and Georgia today voted in his favor.
While two key states are turning blue, Donald Trump’s chances of reelection are gradually dwindling as his team continues to plead election fraud.
The news of Biden’s success in the City of Brotherly Love has gone down well with voters there.
Local news reporter Ellie Rushing of the Philadelphia Inquirer shared the joyful video on Twitter on Friday morning.
“West Philadelphia naturally responds to Biden’s lead in Pennsylvania by dancing in the streets,” Rushing tweeted.

A number of residents can be seen in front of houses in a suburban area, dancing (socially distanced) to Diana Ross’ festive anthem “I’m Coming Out” while passing cars honk in solidarity in the background.
The feel-good video was viewed more than three million times at the time of release, with more than 200,000 people killed.
Renowned filmmaker Ava Du Vernay responded to the clip by tweeting: “I want to be like that! I’m putting together my playlist to blow up my street with black classics from Celebratory Classics!
While another person responded and said, “This is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time. Tears of joy.”
Another added, “This looks like the end of a feel-good movie.”
“Don’t we all feel like this now? Absolutely joyful,” added actor and filmmaker Paul Feig.
Elsewhere in the city, hundreds of people gathered for a “Count Every Vote” block party organized by democratic groups in the city. Many also gathered in front of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where the votes are counted and where there was more singing and dancing.
The news that Biden had taken the lead in Keystone State also triggered a flood of memes online.
A victory for Biden in Pennsylvania would give him 20 more electoral college votes out of a total of 273, putting him above the 270 votes needed to win the presidency.
In the early hours of Friday morning, Biden was also just ahead of Trump in Georgia and later increased his lead over the president in Nevada.
