Episode 1: October 30
Episode 2: November 6

Who is in the cast of The Mandalorian Season 2?
It has been confirmed that the following actors will return for another season:
Pedro Pascal – The Mandalorian/Din Djarin
Gina Carano – Dune of Cara
Carl Weathers – Greef Karga
Giancarlo Esposito – Moff Gideon
…and of course The Child/Baby Yoda, much to the relief of toy sellers around the world.
Numerous reports say that these actors will be joined by a number of actors who will play characters previously seen in other Star Wars movies. Temeura Morrison, for example, is set to play the legendary Mandalorian Boba Fett, a role he has played in the Star Wars universe since he played the character in the 2004 DVD version of The Empire Strikes Back.
As confirmed in the trailer, WWE wrestler Sasha Banks joins the cast in an unspecified role. Also scheduled to appear are Timothy Olyphant from Deadwood and Rosario Dawson from Sin City, who is said to play the live-action debut of Star Wars: The Clone Wars character Ahsoka Tano. Olyphant and Dawson were both confirmed in an Instagram story from the Disney+ Germany account.
It is also reported that Battlestar Galactica will appear as Clone Wars character Bo-Katan Kryze and Michael Biehn from The Terminator in an unfamiliar role – although Carano told Entertainment Weekly of all the casting rumors, “Some of them are true, some of them are not”.
What will happen in The Mandalorian Season 2?
In the summary of the Disney+ storyline for the new episodes, it says: “The Mandalorian and the child continue their journey, facing enemies and gathering allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the turbulent era following the collapse of the Galactic Empire.
Descriptive as ever of the spoiler-averse Star Wars team that Baby Yoda was known to keep so secret that they had no goods to capitalize on when he became a phenomenon.
We do know, however, that the new episodes will follow on from the previous finale, in which Mando was searching for the child’s own kind, while Moff Gideon was revealed to possess the Darksaber, a legendary weapon that many, including Ahsoka Tano, want to see destroyed.
The show’s creator, Jon Favreau, said of the plot of season 2: “The new season is about bringing a bigger story to the world. The stories will be less isolated, but each episode will have its own flavor, and hopefully we’ll bring a lot more scope to the show. Everything will be bigger, the stakes will be higher, but the personal story between the child and the Mandalorian will also develop in a way that people will enjoy.
The Mandalorian Season 2 starts on Friday, October 30th at Disney+.
