At this point in the quarantine no one should need to be reminded how to wear a face mask properly, but in case you need a refresher, an adorable Facebook memo has recently surfaced that shows the right and wrong ways to put on a face mask – with the help of a Labrador retriever.
I hope this helps some of you.

Along with author Terry R. Hill on Facebook, the meme shows many different improper ways to wear a face mask that do not help prevent COVID-19 from spreading or contracting. It also shows how the mutt properly covers his nose and mouth with a standard disposable mask, demonstrating the correct way to wear a mask and be safe as the pandemic progresses. “I hope this helps some of you,” Hill wrote in the mail accompanying the photo.
The top comment in the post is a nice pun about how helpful the dog is by showing off the mask etiquette. The person wrote that he was “lab tested”, which is appropriate, because it looks like the dog is a black lab.
Apart from the photo where the dog is wearing a mask properly, the other photos are still undeniably cute. They show the dog with the mask in his mouth, above his head, dangling from one ear, resting on his chin and with his nose sticking out.
Another commentator said that they would let the dog into their home regardless of whether he followed the correct mask protocol. “But I would let this dog into my house regardless of his mask,” he wrote, although he added that his cat would probably disagree.
The picture has earned over 3,000 Facebook favors and has been shared over 157,000 times on social networking sites. It has also appeared on Twitter. There were also variations of the meme, such as a golden retriever wearing a face mask upside down in three pictures and wearing it upside down in the final photo.

Tekk.tv contacted Terry R. Hill via Facebook Messenger, but did not receive a response in time for release.
Hill is not the only person who has shared pictures of a dog with a mask. Former Salesforce CEO Keith Block recently tweeted an adorable picture of his masked dog. It looks bigger than his dog’s face, but the animal demonstrates proper mask etiquette by covering both his mouth and nose.

They didn’t share photos of dogs wearing the masks, but the popular Twitter account WeRateDogs has developed a special face mask for people who want to continue to greet dogs while keeping social distance. It appropriately says “Tell your dog I said hello”.
