Superstore Season 6: Why America Ferrera leaves the NBC Show.

Superstore was originally supposed to leave the Star America Ferrera at the end of last season. However, after the production of the NBC comedy was discontinued, the former Ugly Betty actress agreed to stay so that the series could give her character Amy Dubanowski a fitting farewell.

However, the actor will still be going after Episode 2 of Superstore Season 6. This means that this episode will be both a happy moment for the fans (it is the 100th episode of the series) and a sad one as they say goodbye to the main character of the series.

Last season, Amy received a call about a job in Palo Alto that would send her out of Cloud 9 in St. Louis into a new chapter of her life.

It seems that Ferrera herself, like her character, is also leaving the series, as she is ready to begin a new chapter in her life.

In a tweet announcing her departure, she wrote: “The last five years at the Superstore have been some of the most rewarding, enriching and enjoyable years of my career. As a producer, director and actress with this wonderful cast and crew, I had the opportunity to grow as a person and storyteller.

“I am so grateful to my partners at NBC and Universal Television for the support and faith they have always put into the show, and most of all I am grateful to the brilliant Justin Spitzer who created the fun, smart and relevant world of Superstore and invited me to be a part of it.

“As I open the next chapter for my family and career, I wish my beloved Superstore family only the best and continued success.

In particular, she announced that she would leave the exhibition in March 2019, just over a month before the birth of her second child, Lucia.

Her co-star Ben Feldman, who plays in the NBC comedy Jonah, said in a TV Line interview about her departure: “We’ve been doing this for a while [and]there’s a lot going on in America, so I don’t think anyone said, ‘Oh my God! She’s leaving!? But I think I was a bit surprised about the timing, I think. I think we all were. She was surprised, too.”

This means that the actress leaves after 100 episodes, the longest running time she ever had in a TV series. Ugly Betty, the show she directed, for which she won a Golden Globe, ran 85 episodes over four seasons.

Ferrera will appear in the first two episodes of Superstore this season. The first of these will air on October 29, with Ferrera in the rare position of competing against herself in the ratings, as she will also co-host Every Vote Counts: A celebration of democracy on CBS.

Superstore Season 6 begins Thursday, October 29 at 20:00 ET / 19:00 CT on NBC….
