Fourth season of The Masked Singer is almost over. The top six candidates will perform in the semi-final on Wednesday, where three mysterious singers will be revealed.
Members of Group A are still in the running: sun and popcorn, crocodile and seahorse from Group B and jellyfish and mushrooms from Group C. In addition to the group performances, the Super Six will decorate the stage with solo covers and provide new clues so that panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger can find out what celebrity is behind each costume. A special guest will also help the panelists with their guesses.
Spectators should expect the candidates to bring their A-game, especially since after this round of the Fox competition only three singers will be able to enter the finals of The Masked Singer.
The sun will certainly bring the heat during their performance on Wednesday evening. The singer has been one of the top contenders since the beginning of the competition – but a quick look at Episode 10 shows what is perhaps her best performance yet.
Dressed in her gorgeous golden dress, The Sun serves up an ethereal cover of Billie Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over” in the preview clip. The camera pans to Scherzinger, who almost bursts into tears when she sees the contestant put everything on stage. There is of course the possibility that the performances of popcorn, crocodile, seahorses, jellyfish and mushrooms are just as moving.

Nevertheless, only three participants can enter the final of season 4. The other three must reveal their identities and join the rest of the eliminated Season 4 participants, including Busta Rhymes as the Dragon, Brian Austin Green as the Giraffe, Mark Sanchez as Baby Alien, Wendy Williams as Lips, Bob Saget as the Squiggly Monster, Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black’s Snowy Owls, Lonzo Ball as Whatever, Dr. Elvis Francois as the Snake, and Paul Anka as Broccoli.
And how could anyone forget Mickey Rourke’s big revelation as Gremlin? The actor thwarted host Nick Cannon and the panelists by revealing his identity before he was even eliminated.
Although the competition is coming to an end, there are still more masked singers to look forward to. Fox announced on Wednesday that the music show has been renewed for a fifth season, scheduled for release sometime in 2021.
The semifinals of Masked Singer Season 4 will begin at Fox on Wednesday at 20:00 ET.
