Nicole Kidman’s house in “The Undoing” is on the market – if you have the money.

Does anyone else get the envy of a big apartment when they see The Undoing? HBO’s latest drama starred Nicole Kidman (and her fabulous hair) and Hugh Grant, and is set mainly in Manhattan’s fashionable Upper East Side. In the second episode of the series, we learn exactly where the fictional Frasers live – 8 East 63rd Street, right next to tree-lined Central Park and between Fifth and Madison Avenues.

For the curious (including me), we did some research to see exactly how much the sloppy apartment costs. According to Zillow, for a cool $29.995 million, you too could be the owner of 8 East 63rd Street. Yes, you can actually buy it – it’s been for sale since May 2018.

The five-story brick townhouse built in 1899 has much more than what we see on the screen. The Undoing shows a lilac living room and kitchen as well as a living room on the second floor. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, an office and a private bathroom, as we can see.

In reality the residence, which is located at 8 East 63rd, is classic and elegant.

The 10,000 square foot house has nine bedrooms and 12 bathrooms (nine full and three half bathrooms). Built in the neo-English classic style, the house features original architectural details as well as three terraces and six cosy fireplaces. The apartment is 25 feet wide and has ceilings over 11 feet high. There is a library and a home gym and a guest house, as Sotheby’s Realty noted.

Street Easy noted that the apartment can be used as two separate units and that there are different floor plans that the floor slab can accommodate.

When the house was originally listed, it cost a whopping $35 million, so any interested party would receive a pretty solid discount.

In addition to 8 East 63rd Street, the exhibition was also shot at the Frick Collection on 70th Street and Fifth Avenue and throughout Central Park. According to The Cinemaholic, the beach house owned by the Frasers is located in Greenport, Long Island, and the glamorous gala took place on One State Street.

For more New York sights, there are new episodes of The Undoing, which will air on HBO on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. EST….
