Kim Kardashian channels her inner Carole pelvis with ‘Tiger King’-inspired family costume, without Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian West brought out her inner Carole Basin for Halloween 2020.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star started the Halloween celebrations early and showed some photos of her on Friday, dressed as the owner of the Big Cat Rescue. Of course, Kardashian West was not alone in the photos – her close friend Jonathan Cheban personified the tiger king himself, Joe Exotic. The reality star’s four children – seven-year-old North, four-year-old Saint, two-year-old Chicago boy and 17-month-old Psalm – all wore tiger costumes with matching orange and black striped face painting.

“Carole Baskin, Joe Exotic and our tigers #Halloween2020,” Kardashian West described the photo.

Missing in action was Kardashian West’s husband, Kanye West.

Kardashian West is probably one of the hundreds of people who dress up as a Basque on Halloween weekends, whether they celebrate the holiday at home or at socially distanced outdoor events. Baskin, an animal rights activist, was one of the people persecuted in Netflix’s Tiger King Docuseries, which debuted in March. Throughout the series, which was seen by more than 64 million households by the last episode in April, Baskin was often filmed wearing a flowery headband and blouses with leopard and tiger prints, according to a Variety Report.

It’s more than likely that this outfit is just one of many that Kardashian West could rock during this year’s family Halloween celebrations. The Kardashian-Jenner family has earned a reputation for rocking out on this holiday. Kardashian West and her siblings are usually photographed in several costumes at Halloween parties each year.

In 2019, a blonde Kardashian West, dressed in a figure-hugging pink dress and pink sunglasses, conjured up the figure of Elle Woods-Reese Witherspoon from the 2001 blockbuster Legally Blonde, and also re-enacted the famous video of Elle for Harvard Admissions, in which she appeared in a pool with an exact replica of the hot pink and sequined bikini Elle wears in her admissions video for the film.

For her second costume for the 2019 season, Kardashian West and her children dressed as characters from the classic cartoon The Flintstones. Kardashian West wore a costume by Betty Rubble, while her little boy Psalm was dressed as Bamm-Bamm. North and Saint posed as Wilma and Fred Flinstone, while her sister Chicago wore a red wig and green dress, just like Pebbles. Meanwhile, West appeared as Dino, the Flintstones’ pet dinosaur.

As cute as the family’s costumes were, Kardashian West did not go through with it without some complications.

“This family photo was such a challenge because Chicago was so scared of dinosaurs! LOL We tried to explain and show her that it was just Daddy, but she still didn’t understand the concept! So call on the photographer to edit it and make our Flintstone family’s dreams come true,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
