Juan Pablo Galavis liked a tweet in which he stated that he “dodged a bullet” by dumping Bachelorette Clare Crawley.

Clare Crawley’s ex, Juan Pablo Galavis, may have “dodged a bullet” by leaving his bachelorette behind – at least his Twitter preferences suggest he might think so. The 2014 bachelor liked a fan’s new thoughts about his time on the reality show and his decision not to partner with Crawley when she was a contestant on the show.

“You know, Juan…we all thought she dodged a bullet with you, but I think you dodged a bullet with her,” wrote Twitter user Melissa Gilbert (@melissaxgilbert). Galavis liked the tweet.

Gilbert is right: For a while, many people in the Bachelor Nation thought Galavis was the worst Bachelor the franchise had ever seen. But now opinions have changed – for many, Peter Weber has accepted this disgraceful title. And Galavis’ conversation about the end of the relationship with Crawley remains one of the most memorable moments of the franchise.

Back then, Crawley was seen as a strong, independent woman who stood up for herself. However, her own time as a leading actress this year led some viewers to believe that Crawley was as horrible a partner as Galavis seemed to be.

Galavis revealed on Twitter that he was unable to watch the episode Bachelorette on Thursday night because he was in Mexico. He did not admit that Crawley got engaged in the fourth episode of the series or that she and her fiancé, Dale Moss, are still together. The only time Galavis mentioned the episode was when he liked Gilbert’s tweet.

In Mexico, THE SHOW CANN’T BE WATCHED… Can anyone keep me up to date?

It is not the first time, however, that he likes tweets that took Crawley completely by surprise. Judging by his activities on Twitter, it seems clear that Galavis and Crawley do not get along very well. Some of the tweets that appear in his “popular tweets” describe Crawley as “crazy” and even note that Galavis “deserves an apology” from Bachelor Nation. You can see them below.

Even @JuanPaGalavis was lucky not to pick Clare, because she is just a little bit crazy.

Remarkably, however, he also liked tweets that implied the same thing about the ex Andi Dorfman.

Juan Pablo dodged a bullet with Andi, someone can’t handle hearing NO. My dearest bachelor. #TheBachelorGOAT @JuanPaGalavis

Crawley accepted an engagement from Moss on Thursday night after she decided to dismiss the remaining men in her squadron. By the time she left the show, Crawley had only participated in two rose ceremonies.

Although Galavis does not seem to have the best memories of Crawley, the bachelorette is still a close friend of one of her ex-franchise bachelors. Benoit Beauséjour-Savard and Crawley stayed in touch even after an aborted engagement at the winter bachelor games. The ex-fiancé only supported Crawley’s new journey in the social media.

Even without Crawley, The Bachelorette Season 16 will continue. Tayshia Adams started as the new Bachelorette on Thursday evening. The Bachelorette is normally broadcast on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC, but has been moved to Thursday this week due to the 2020 presidential election.
