Kanye West has abandoned his presidential hopes for 2020 after a miserable election performance.
The rapper gave up the defeat early, as the race between Joe Biden and Donald Trump continued.
However, the 43-year-old has declared his intention to run again in 2024.
“WELP”, West twittered next to the words “KANYE 2024” and a pigeon emoji. He posted a photo of him next to a voting card filled with Republican and Democratic victories.

The “Jesus is King” artist appeared on pre-printed ballots in only 12 states after failing to meet deadlines and other requirements necessary for candidacy in all 50 states.
He appeared on the ballot for Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Vermont. West also strongly advocated that his supporters write his name on their ballots.
West announced his candidacy for the White House in July of this year, and what followed was a disastrous campaign marked by personal crises and controversial slips. A former Trump supporter himself once even admitted to having led a spoiler campaign to damage Biden’s candidacy.
So how many votes did West receive? In all states where he was on the ballot, West received less than 60,000 votes.
West’s greatest success was in Tennessee, where he received more than 10,000 votes, or 0.3 percent of the state’s total votes.
When he cast his own vote at a polling station in Park County, Wyoming, West admitted via Twitter that he had never participated in an election before: “God is so good. Today, for the first time in my life, I am voting for the President of the United States for someone I truly trust … for me”.
Per AP, West received just over 1,200 votes in Vermont and nearly 6,000 votes in Colorado.
In Utah, 4,053 votes were counted for the rapper.
West has received votes in the remaining states: Arkansas (3,979); Idaho (2,309); Iowa (3,179); Kentucky (6,259); Louisiana (4,837); Minnesota (6,796); Mississippi (3,009); and Oklahoma (5,587).
On this disappointing day for the rapper, it seems that even his wife Kim Kardashian did not vote for him.
Although the reality TV star did not officially support any candidate, the reality TV star delivered a message through voter hotlines from Kamala Harris, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, indicating that she supported the Democrats.

I VOTES!!!! Did you?!?!
If you’re standing in line when the polling stations close, they must stay open and allow you to vote, so don’t get out of line. pic.twitter.com/QXsU4JPdCw
