Fox News presenter Sandra Smith was caught reacting incredulously to a guest who expressed doubts about the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s statement about the president-elect. While the guest spoke of uncertainties about the results, Smith can still be seen on the screen being recorded by a hot microphone.
When the guests say, “just because CNN or Fox News say someone is president doesn’t make them president,” Smith looks up with narrowed eyes and apparently tries to get her colleague Trace Gallagher to stop the conversation.
“What?!” says Smith and watches in disbelief. Before he continues with a more angry tone of voice: “What’s happening? Like Trace… We said it.”
Gallagher seems to admit that all the legality of the results should be confirmed before quickly moving on to Steve Mulroy. The moment was first picked up by journalist Timothy Burke and shared on Twitter.
