Toyota is providing its ProAce transporter with a little brother. The new ProAce City van comes from a cooperation with the PSA group and will be available in April, the manufacturer announced.

As a panel van for craftsmen or dealers, it starts at 19,635 euros, and as a station wagon for passenger transport Toyota demands at least 20,300 euros for the ProAce City.

Like its sister models, the Opel Combo and Citroën Berlingo, it is offered in two wheelbases and two body lengths of 4.40 or 4.75 meters. The load volume is accordingly between 3.3 and 4.3 cubic meters and for access there are up to two sliding doors and a large tailgate with a window that can be opened separately.

The ProAce City is available with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine with 55 kW/75 hp, 75 kW/102 hp or 95 kW/130 hp and a three-cylinder diesel engine that generates 81 kW/110 hp from 1.2 litres of displacement. This enables top speeds of up to 185 km/h. According to Toyota, the standard consumption is between 4.1 litres of diesel (CO2 emissions 108 g/km) and 5.5 litres of petrol (125 g/km).
