There seems to be a power struggle going on in the Saudi royal house. According to media reports, several high-ranking princes have been arrested on subversion charges.

According to media reports, several high-ranking members of the Royal Family have been arrested in Saudi Arabia. They are accused of conspiracy against the King, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times reported.

Among those arrested were the brother and nephew of 84-year-old King Salman. According to the report, they were not only facing long prison sentences, but possibly also the death penalty. The “New York Times” also reported on the arrest of Prince Nawaf bin Naif.
