Why Do Fans Think June Will Make a Trade for Hannah on ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’?

Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale is coming to a conclusion. And, based on hints from the finale sneak peek, some fans believe June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) is preparing to negotiate a deal with Gilead in exchange for Hannah’s safe return.

In episode 9 of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ June receives an offer from Commander Lawrence.

June calls Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whtiford) in the penultimate episode of The Handmaid’s Tale season 4 and begs him to bring Hannah out of Gilead. The Commander, on the other hand, is colder as ever, and advises June to simply enjoy her own freedom.

However, when he hears June’s pain and desperation, he makes her an offer. Lawrence offers her 10 Gilead children (whom June assisted in escaping) in return for Hannah.
