Until they were teenagers, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had to dress alike.

It’s difficult to think about Mary-Kate Olsen without also thinking of her twin sister, Ashley Olsen, and the opposite is equally true. Despite the fact that the two are clearly people with different temperaments, their commonalities and shared interests have led many followers to regard them as a unit. This was particularly true when they were younger and more heavily involved in the entertainment industry. The sisters didn’t do productions together in the beginning of their acting careers. Mary-Kate playfully remembered the fights she and her sister had in a 2009 interview with Interview Magazine.

While Ashley preferred a more larger style, Mary-Kate preferred a more form-fitting style.

This is a piece of advice that Elizabeth Olsen lives by. Mary-Kate and Ashley, her sisters, taught her.
