Take That bandmembers Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald left fans stunned with an impromptu performance at a special London screening of their new Netflix docuseries. The trio performed hit songs “Back For Good” and “Shine” during a private event on Monday evening, following the debut episode of the band’s self-titled documentary.

The surprise performance had fans on their feet, with Owen even walking through the crowd, creating an intimate and personal atmosphere. Take That superfan Kelly McEvoy, 44, shared her excitement, calling the experience “the best night of my life.” She explained, “Honestly, I can’t believe it. They were so close. This is like my childhood dream.”

For Caroline Johnston, 46, the unexpected performance was equally thrilling. “I loved the first episode, and the surprise performance was unreal,” she said. “I didn’t think they would be there.”

    Netflix Docuseries Chronicles Band’s Journey

The Netflix series, launching on January 27, follows the band’s rise to fame, their tumultuous split, and eventual reunion. Featuring rare behind-the-scenes footage, the series provides fans with an unprecedented look at the group’s journey. Take That is best known for their chart-topping hits such as “Never Forget,” “Pray,” and “Babe,” and more recent songs like “Shine” and “Greatest Day.”

Formed in 1989, the group originally included Barlow, Donald, Owen, Jason Orange, and Robbie Williams. After their breakup in 1996 following Williams’ departure, the band reunited in 2005, but Orange left in 2014. Barlow, Owen, and Donald have continued to release albums, including “III” and “Wonderland.”

This summer, the trio will embark on a UK and Ireland tour before releasing their 10th studio album.
