These are the only actors who have appeared in all three “Star Wars” trilogies
Well before Disney+ produced and released new “Star Wars” movies, the prequel trilogy was making waves in the fan community. The Star Wars prequel trilogy consisted of three films: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and The Revenge of the Sith. In two of these films, young actor Hayden Christensen took on the role of Anakin Skywalker, the gifted Jedi who eventually becomes the villainous Darth Vader.
Unfortunately, when the films were first released, Christensen’s performance as Anakin was slammed by critics, according to Screenrant. Many of these fans found fault with Christensen’s acting as well as the overall direction of the prequel trilogy. Christensen himself handled the criticism with grace, but there’s no doubt that the relentless wave of hate took a toll on the actor – and for years, he remained mostly out of the spotlight. These days, Christensen is back in fans’ good graces, with many acknowledging that Christensen may have made the most of the material he had at his disposal.

‘Star Wars’: What surprised J.J. Abrams the most about ‘The Last Jedi’
Meanwhile, Hayden Christensen is slowly reintegrating himself into the “Star Wars” universe – he’s set to return as Darth Vader in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. However, aside from the actors, not much is known about the series, with most of the main cast keeping mum about the plot and storyline. Reportedly, the series will total about six episodes and will be a standalone series .
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has thrown fans a bone in recent months, however, revealing that “Obi-Wan Kenobi begins 10 years after the dramatic events of ‘Revenge of the Sith,'” Kennedy explained, according to Grit Daily, “where he was confronted with his greatest defeat: the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker, who transformed into the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.”

How many actors have played Darth Vader in “Star Wars?”
Hayden Christensen himself has kept quiet about his upcoming appearance as Darth Vader in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Nevertheless, some fans recently discussed on Reddit what it will be like to see the actor back in action. The original post showed a behind-the-scenes shot of the filming of Revenge of the Sith, featuring Christensen as Vader.
“I wonder if Hayden looks like this on the set of Kenobi right now,” wrote one fan, adding emojis of crossed fingers to the comment. “Hayden coming back as Darth Vader for the Obi-Wan series is really what I might be most excited about right now. I don’t know if this is an indictment on my own life or if it’s a testament to how monumental it is that Hayden is back, but hey,” wrote another fan.
Clearly, fans are more than ready to forget the difficult years of the prequel trilogy and look forward to the unique talent Hayden Christensen brings to the iconic role of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
